Thomas Lawson Joins Veyo as the Market Director  for the Southeast Region

Lawson brings over ten years of Medicaid experience to Veyo’s operational team

San Diego – September 26, 2018 – Veyo is pleased to announce and welcome Thomas Lawson as the Market Director for Veyo’s Virginia/Florida NEMT Regions. Lawson will operate out of our Richmond, Virginia office and will provide oversight for all contracted transportation services, healthcare facility partnerships, and local teams.

Lawson joins the Veyo team from the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), the agency that administers all Medicaid and FAMIS health insurance benefit programs in Virginia. Lawson oversaw Contracts and Administration for the Managed Care group at DMAS, where his ability to analyze programs and develop solutions to address inefficiencies earned him a reputation both internally and externally. Prior to working at DMAS, Lawson served as the Director of Operations for Logisticare in the Richmond, Virginia area, where he worked to ensure the success of local and statewide contracts.

Lawson comes to Veyo with over a decade of experience in the NEMT and Medicaid industry, and we look forward to his leadership in serving our current and future customers with our revolutionary approach to bringing safety, reliability, transparency and cost effectiveness to the management of this vital transportation benefit.
