Veyo celebrates 1 year anniversary

San Diego-based Veyo, a nonemergency medical transportation provider, has experienced rapid growth since launching one year ago.

During its first year, Veyo completed more than 3 million trips and assisted 2/5 million Medicaid and Medicare Advantage members in six states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Michigan and Texas. The company also solidified a 97.9 percent on-time performance rate.

Veyo took several actions to celebrate its first anniversary. For every trip completed on Nov. 15, the company donated 25 cents to The National Kidney Foundation, resulting in a total of $5,000. In addition, Veyo employees raised a total of $5,000 by participating in Pedal the Cause, an event that raises money for cancer research.
